Hints of mineral reduction and petrol add breadth to the vaguely exotic, ripe and dense aromas of apple compote, beeswax and ripe citrus nuances. The sleek, intense and beautifully concentrated and textured medium weight plus flavors are suave yet reasonably precise on the superbly long and impeccably well-balanced finale. This is strikingly good and offers mid to longer-term aging potential as well. One to strongly consider if you can find it.

(91-94 points) Mid lemon and lime, with a much more opulent bouquet, young plants from 2010 from Benoît Ente’s side. Plums and pears, a sunnier style than the normal Ente purity, though it tightens up towards the back. Purity and persistence the watchwords as ever, and very long.
