The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain is a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it erupts from the glass with intense Black Forest cake, plum preserves and crème de cassis scents, followed by hints of Indian spices, underbrush and unsmoked cigars. The full-bodied palate is concentrated and lively, featuring loads of earthy nuances intertwined with the rich black fruit preserves flavors and a velvety texture, finishing long and spicy. - LPB

This wine shows very ripe character with some blackberries and plums, baking spices and wood. Full-bodied with sweetish fruit character on the palate, velvety-textured tannins and a long finish. This will age nicely. Drink or hold.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Dyer family is terrific and certainly a brilliant value. Medium-bodied, elegant, and balanced, it has a great perfume of red and blue fruits, dried earth, and violets. A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot, it spent 22 months in 40% new French oak. It should keep for 10-15 years.
