92+ The 2015 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru, derived from young vines in the Musigny, offers up a lovely bouquet of black cherry, summer fruits, caramelized citrus peel and subtle espresso roast. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, supple and fragrant, with sappy acids, good concentration and a chalky chassis of tannin. Like the Chambolle Villages, this was rather dramatic in barrel but it's now beginning to shut down. - William Kelley

(89-91 points) A very pretty and elegant nose merges notes of spice and floral elements with those of red and dark currant. There is fine richness to the relatively full-bodied flavors that possess a caressing mouth feel as well as a subtle minerality that extends to the delicious and seductive finale where a hint of bitter pit cherry emerges.

90+ The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny AC from Domaine Comtes de Vogüé is a lovely wine in the making, with a vibrant and sappy personality that will make for fine drinking in the not too distant future. The lovely bouquet jumps from the glass in a blaze of black cherries, raspberries, raw cocoa, a fine base of soil tones and a touch of nutskin in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and tangy, with a good core, excellent backend mineral drive and fien length and grip on the moderately tannic finish. High class AC.
