Bright ruby-red. Assertively perfumed, displaying aromas of fresh red fruits, potpourri and Asian spices, and an exotic incense note that emerges with air. Juicy, penetrating and lithe, especially for the vintage, offering palate-staining raspberry and bitter cherry flavors complemented by sweet cola and smoky mineral qualities. (92+ points) Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Gregory Ranch Vineyard is scented of pomegranate, rhubarb, dried herbs and cranberries with underlying earthy notes of fallen leaves, tree bark and dusty earth. Light to medium-bodied, fine, fresh and elegantly played on the palate, this wine shows lovely restraint with chewy tannins and a savory finish.- LPB

Dark and sappy, with earth-driven complexity, this includes as many as 15 different clones planted on the far western edge of the AVA. Savory flavors bring black cherry, cola, smoke, and an underpinning of earth and black tea. PAUL GREGUTT
