Coming from the best barrels from five vineyards, this label is what Josh Bergstrom considers the essence of the Willamette Valley. Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Cumberland Reserve has notes of black cherries, black raspberries and red currents with hints of spice box, black pepper and forest floor. Medium-bodied, it fills the palate with vibrant red and black berry flavors, supported by grainy tannins and a lively line of acid, finishing with good length.- LPB
