Approximately 50% chardonnay 50% pinot noir. Straw colored with a persistent fine bead the bouquet is high-toned and focused showing restrained aromas of citrus a bit of wet stone and spearmint. It opens softly with...

(19/20) Really exciting and tense. Great stuff! Really very fine indeed. Really tightly wound. Bitter, dried-citrus-peel notes. Tight.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, March 2010

The 2002 Dom Perignon is at first intensely floral with perfumed jasmine that dominates the bouquet. With time in the glass the wine gains richness as the flavors turn decidedly riper and almost tropical. Ripe apricots...

Wine & Spirits, December 2011

Think of standing above a well at the edge of an apple orchard, the cool feel of the earth deepening the bosky scent of the ripening fruit. This wine may take you there, then leave you to contemplate its complexity:...

Minerality essence, citrus, tropical fruit, floral, honeysuckle and toast aromas prepare you for the complex, concentrated, sweet yellow fruit and stone filled palate. Creamy, but not as flashy, opulent or open as the...

Neal Martin's Wine Journal, January 2011

Tasted at Pazo in Baltimore then in London with consistent notes. “Crystalline.” That is the adjective that popped into my head as soon as I sipped the latest release of Dom Perignon. The nose is tensile and minerally...

Decanter,

Wonderfully caressing and typical. The silkiness and balance impress most, along with a fluffy, creamy tone and stylish nuttiness. A great Dom Pérignon that charms from the start, but certainly not to be opened over the...

Possibly the world’s most recognized and iconic Champagne, Moet & Chandon Dom Perignon is always a vintage-dated wine comprised of the classic varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Elegant and graceful with excellent aging potential, it is produced only in those harvest years that the Chef de Cave declares to be of exceptional quality.

Dom. Pierre Perignon, revered as the spiritual “Father of Champagne”, was a 17th century Benedictine Monk and cellar master at Benedictine Abbey of Hautvillers. He had a singular mission: to create the best wine in the world. To that mission, he dedicated 47 years of his life to invent and perfect the techniques to create a wine whose reputation knows no equal. His life-long work acquired a reputation for excellence which spread rapidly throughout the region, including the favor of the Royal Court during the reign of King Louis XIV.

Today, Richard Geoffroy, Chef de Cave and Creator of Dom Perignon Vintages, perpetuates the spirit of Dom. Pierre Perignon. The wine is produced by Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the largest luxury brand group in the world.
