“Made by macerating gentian roots in grape neutral alcohol and this maceration is then double-distilled and blended with herbs and other botanicals that have also been macerated. The blend (formerly Saveur d’Autrefois) is aged in well seasoned cask for 18 months.
Appearance: Clear, bright, almost luminous, canary yellow with golden tinges.
Aroma: Clean, aromatic gentian.
Taste: Lightly syrupy honey sweetness with underlying bitterness. Fantastic herbal complexity.
Aftertaste: Lingering bitterness.”
