2010 Antoine Jobard - Bourgogne Blanc
An unusually complex nose for a wine of this level offers up aromas of pear, straw and lemon grass. In very much the same vein, this is also notably more concentrated than is typical with plenty of dry extract and a relatively sophisticated mouth feel, all wrapped in a balanced, lingering and equally complex finish. This would make a terrific house white plus it will age for a few years too if desired. Outstanding. Top value. (86-89 BH)
