2008 Raventós i Blanc - Brut Cava Reserva
500 years of winemaking tradition have made the Raventos family synonymous with Cava, Spain’s famous sparkling wine. While there are many mass-produced cavas on the market, the Raventos go above and beyond by farming biodynamically, and they are the only family to grow and bottle their own estate fruit in the appellation. Their Macabeo, Xarel-lo, and Parellada grapes are planted in fine, chalky soils much like that of Champagne to make this value sparkler a veritable thoroughbred.
