Montenegro - Amaro
"Stanislaus Cobianchi did a complete "180" in 1885. Instead of following his parents' wishes to go into the clergy, he followed his dream and began crafting this complex amaro. In 1896, he christened his recipe Amaro Montenegro, naming it after the future queen of Italy, Elena of Montenegro. Made with over 40 different herbs, it is commonly consumed after dinner but also tastes great on ice." -SFWTC Staff
