The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs is mostly based on 2018 (65%) along with 30% of 2017 and 5% of 2019, picked in Chouilly, Cuis and Epernay. An immediate hit of saltiness on the nose announces that this is not about fruit but soil. Fine mousse and bright slenderness immediately spell elegance and verve. Concentration on the mid-palate, despite the svelte body, brings salty depth and a touch of blond baguette crust. Freshness, verve and elegance make this a quintessential, taut blanc de blancs.
