Aromas of dark cherry and baked raspberry flesh, there's plenty of barrel spice with dusty vanilla and clove spice highlights. Youthful, fruity and nicely complex. Dry with medium weight on the palate, a core of dark red berry fruit and oak spice flavours, plenty of tannin and acidity for structure and foundation. There's a youthful tautness and squeeze on the finish, a wine that will continue to develop offering best drinking.

Plenty of spice and modern-leaning, reductive complexity here, as well as bright red cherries, blueberries, cassis and violets. The palate has a fleshy, supple and attractively fresh red-cherry and blueberry core. Mouth-filling, flavorful and vividly fresh at the finish. Drink over the next six years. Screw cap.

There's a sense of richness here, caressing the midpalate, but always remaining elegant. It fills the mouth with a silken core of dense blue and red fruit. Savory tannin provides a corset that hugs the fleshy middle, while a thread of acidity and (30%) whole-bunch-derived line and spice keep this wine going from start to finish. A background note of oak-derived vanillins doesn’t get in the way of the pure blueberry, violets and pine needles.
