"The Schaefers’ 2007 Graacher Domprobst Riesling Auslese A.P.#17 smells of fresh apple, cassis, mint, honeysuckle, and lily; comes onto the palate delicately, with vivid freshness of fruit, yet glazed with honey; and finishes with a torrent of sheer refreshment that belie its sense of lightness, leaving the fresh taste of ripe melons and heirloom apples.
