Marlborough has a characteristically cool start each season, making it particularly well-suited for growing well-balanced and terroir-driven Pinot Noir. Both barrel and tank fermentation were used in this lovely effort with an artfully selected combination of new and older French oak. This is elegant cool climate Pinot Noir at its best. Fragrant, soft and flavorful with aromas of ripe cherries, plums and gentle sweet fruit tannins to provide serious structure and length.
