"The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino shows plenty of energy and focus. The wine fleshes out nicely on the mid-palate as the flavors become more expressive. Hints of sweet pipe tobacco, leather, smoke and licorice add complexity on the radiant finish. This is a very pretty wine from La Fornacina.
