"The 2007 Chianti Classico Riserva is warm, rich and totally engaging. French oak adds volume and texture to the attractive dark red fruit, with lovely intensity that carries through to the generous, round finish. This is a fairly forward 2007 that doesn’t appear to be built for the long haul. Still, it should offer highly rewarding drinking for at least a few years. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2017."
