2010 Domaine des Croix, Beaune "Greves" 1er Cru Red Burgundy, France. "As it usually is, this is the most complex of these Beaune 1ers with a mix of soil and mineral nuances adding elegance and breadth to the ripe and pretty red currant and floral aromas. There is a lovely sense of energy to the firm and serious medium-bodied flavors that evidence a distinct stoniness on the solidly persistent finish.
