This high quality Domaine is run by the Pinault family, the same family that own Bordeaux First Growth Chateau Latour and famed Northern Rhone Chateau-Griillet, and has quietly become a top favorite in the Cote D'Or. The Estate is managed by Frédéric Engerer, also President of Château Latour, and by Michel Mallard, oenologist who is helped by a team of two multi-task wine-growers. The vineyard is about 7.5 hectares and extends onto the communes of Vosne-Romanée, Vougeot and Flagey-Echezeaux. Michel is a burgundian from a family domaine in Ladoix with experience in the Medoc and Australia, Michel is also a (Decanter 2006) gold medal winning wine-maker.
