The red wines of France’s Southwest have been steadily growing in popularity over the past 5-7 years. Largely recognized as one of France’s most undervalued regions, the Southwest is home to many of the country’s most exciting appellations. Cahors is ground zero as far as Malbec is concerned. The wines produced here are dark, chewy and tannic and can easily last for decades. The Cuvée Renaissance is one such age-worthy wine.
