This husband-and-wife-team have done it again with their newly released 2010 Estate Pinot Noir. SFWTC has been purchasing these wines from day one, but the 2010 clearly outperforms all previous efforts. A lovely combination of red and black fruits can be found on the very feminine nose and palate followed by hints of bittersweet chocolate, black peppercorns, dried cherry and violets.
The 2010 Bohemian opens with a nose full of ripe berry, lavender and subtle earth. Explosive acidity on entry, followed by layers of plum, cocoa and pie cherry. The weighty mid-palate is lifted by floral nuance and cola. Finish is long and sultry.
