By Spanish standards, Bodegas LAN is a relatively young estate with a founding date of 1972––Named in honor of the three provinces of Rioja–La Rioja (L), Álava (A) and Navarra (N)–the goal of this producer is to harness the individual attributes of this large and diverse region and share them with the world. Composed of Viura, the 2011 is very Sauvignon Blanc-like with tangy notes of lemon/lime citrus, wet stones, honeydew and raw almonds.
