2009 Jobard Meursault “Poruzots” 1er Cru “As is usually the case, this is not as aromatically elegant but it is both more densely fruited and more complex and this complexity continues onto the rich, round and solidly concentrated flavors that possess a taut muscularity before culminating in a noticeably dry, clean and impressively persistent finish. This is not especially refined but it's well-balanced.  Outstanding!"  (90-92 BH) "The 2009 Meursault Poruzots comes across as quite inward and cool in its persistent minerality. The Poruzots is texturally beautiful, but it isn’t an immediate 2009, rather it is a wine that needs at least a few more years in bottle. There is no shortage of finesse here.
