Released in 2015, this vintage refers to the Fond-Capot house where Heritiers Madkaud rum was founded in 1895. The first occupant of this place was Lieutenant General Jean Carles de Baas Castelmore, Governor General of the French West Indies of Louis XIV, in 1674. When he died in 1677, he was buried on the property.
Rum with a beautiful copper color, aged for 4 to 5 years in oak barrels. The balanced scents of roasted coffee and mocha are enjaced by beautifully spicy and woody notes. The aromas developed in a beautiful lemony vegetable freshness evoke the nougat, the spices, the fruits cooked with a refined woody note.
