If you are planning on having alcoholic beverages shipped within the US, please be advised that orders on our Web site will not be accepted when the shipping address is in Massachusetts or Pennsylvania, Texas or Utah. If you wish to ship wine to one of those states, please contact us.

You must be 21 years of age or older to order or receive alcoholic beverages from San Francisco Wine Trading Company. Any shipments containing alcoholic beverages are sent with an "Adult Signature Required" sticker, and you will need to be present and show proof of identification at the time of delivery.

During periods of extreme weather, we recommend to avoid having your wine shipped via ground services in order to ensure the safest conditions of your order. The San Francisco Wine Trading Co. nor our freight carriers will accept liability for weather-related damage. Efforts are made to ship your packages at the beginning of each week in order to get shipments to you before the weekend. This is because we have no control over the temperature conditions at our freight carriers' warehouses. Please understand that during business hours, your orders are immediately packaged and scheduled for delivery.

You will be given the opportunity to choose the appropriate shipping address and method. San Francisco Wine Trading Company will arrange for shipment on behalf of the buyer, to an address specified by the buyer, provided that San Francisco Wine Trading Company believes that such shipment will not subject San Francisco Wine Trading Company to the risk of any sort of legal action or other harm. If a buyer lives in a state where the direct shipment of wine by San Francisco Wine Trading Company violates the law, we suggest that the buyer provide an alternative address in another state or have their wine shipped to a third-party storage facility in a direct shipping-friendly state.
